Cardiovascular Service Line Leader Announced

Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center welcomes its new cardiovascular service line leader, James Bristol, BSN, RN.
James Bristol, RN is a local nurse who brings over 25 years of hospital nursing experience as our new cardiac cath lab manager. James graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno. He also served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Nurse Corps collectively for 13 years. James began his nursing career in orthopedics and soon realized his passion for cardiovascular care. Therefore, he quickly transitioned as a manager of the cath lab at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
James opened and led the PCI program at the Veteran’s hospital in Reno, Nevada. He also served as a staff nurse in the cath lab at Northern Nevada Medical Center.
Jim enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, and spending time with his wife, two boys, and four grandchildren.
