Food and Nutrition Services
It is our goal to make your stay as comfortable as possible and provide you healthy, well-balanced meals to aid in your recovery and treatment. Sierra Medical Center provides a variety of nutritious meal options that can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
When your provider places you on a diet, you will be provided with a menu from which you can choose your meals. Meals can be ordered by calling our room-service line at 775-799-7814, between the hours of 6:30 am – 6:30 pm.
Our knowledgeable team members can help you to choose a meal that meets the nutritional goals prescribed by your providers. If you have any specific dietary needs or food allergies, please let our dietary aides and nursing staff know so that we may better serve you.
If you prefer not to order your meals, we are happy to assist by providing you with a standard tray specially chosen for your prescribed diet.
We encourage all guests to enjoy meals in the cafeteria on the 1st Floor of the hospital. Guest meal trays through room service are available for $8 when the cafeteria is closed.
Blue Sage Bistro
The cafeteria is open from 7:00 am – 10:00 am for breakfast and 11:00 am – 2:00 pm for lunch Monday through Friday.
Vending Machines
Vending machines for snacks and beverages are located in the cafeteria, surgery waiting area and the emergency department. They are available 24 hours a day.
